Why Are We So Pale? No Sun = No Vitamin D3

Have you looked around and noticed that everyone seems so pale? It is easier to see on white people than darker folks. Here’s a challenge go to the park, mall, playground, beach, lake, anywhere and put your phone down (that’s the challenge) and watch. Pay attention and you will find a copious amount of people that are white or paler than they should be. If you watch long enough you will see teens that are whiter than the white T’s they are wearing. You have to look closely to see where the shirt ends and the arm begins. On the beach you will see people blend in with the white sand. Why? Well the answer is simple low Vitamin D3, but it’s really not that simple.
Most people are pale because they do not go outside and they are not exposed to enough UV radiation or sunlight. Which is the catalyst to making Vitamin D3. Without sunlight cholesterol does not get turned into pre-vitamin D. It’s really not that simple though, because once the process gets to the liver and kidneys your body uses magnesium to complete the process and the active form of Vitamin D3 is finally released.
There is another side to this three sided die. Without sunlight we are not able to produce melanin which is our bodies defense to UV radiation, well all radiation, which can also hinder the amount of Vitamin D3 we can produce because we use UV light to get the process going. So simply put sunlight = vitamin D3 and melanin production. You see the sun in the afternoon has massive amounts of radiation: UV and gamma. While the sun is not bad for us. The sun is bad during the times when all the radiation is present….. here’s my thought if we were meant to stay out of the sun then why did Nature build us so that we have natural defenses to protect us while we are in the sun. Nature also gave us processes that require the sun to function. No sunlight= no vitamin D3, but also it is important to remember that the darker you are the more sunlight you need to meet your vitamin D3 needs because your body is going to use the UV light to make melanin before it uses it to make Vitamin D3. So the darker you are the more sun you need so your body can do both. This is a topic for another day, but the darker your skin tone the more radiation you can absorb. That includes radiation from modern life like: wifi, 5g, electricity, smart meters, data centers, etc.
Don’t forget you can get Vitamin D3 from food intake too, but it’s possible that the sun is a better option because it is faster, reliable and your not stuck eating a bunch of foods you may not like.
The other part of this die is living an insulated life immersed in blue light and other forms of radiation. While conventional research does not really support the idea that blue light negatively impacts Vitamin D levels directly it definitely does indirectly, especially for kids and teens. Parents often use electronics as digital baby sitters. All screens of electronic devices are lit with blue light. Blue light is in almost every light bulb the brighter the bulb the more blue light in it. LED and florescent lights have large amounts of blue light. These types of bulbs are everywhere and in 2028 we won’t be able to buy incadensent light bulbs ( these bulbs also have blue light, but it’s balanced with other wavelengths of light) at all. Some may say that this was not intentional and was a mistake, I don’t know if the creators knew blue light would be addictive and soul crushing or not, but mistakes are often corrected, while intentional acts are not. Harvard came out with a research a few years ago that says that blue light can delay sleep up to three hours and it takes our brains three hours to adjust after exposure to blue light. Meaning blue light affects melatonin which has a cascade effect in our bodies because melatonin helps regulate other hormones. This research has been mainstream for about ten years now and every screen is still lit with blue light. Nothing has changed. In fact it will get worse with the ban of incandescent bulbs. Screens keeps us inside insulated from the world where we fall into a cycle of eating crap food while we binge watch the latest trend or play video games for days on end or maybe we just scroll social media for hours and hours and hours, all while we are bathing in blue light from our LEDs. We do this all while the sun rises and sits and we miss the beauty of nature that brought us into existence.
How do we correct this? I think the answer is obvious. Just go outside more and put the screens down and turn off the lights. The recommendation for daily sun exposure is thirty minutes for darker skin and fifteen for lighter skin. I think at the bare minimum a person should see the sunrise and sunset and go outside between noon and 2 O’clock. Personally I think the more time you spend outside the better. When you get too hot get in the shade under a tree, cool off in a stream, or wear light natural reflective clothing.
“Why is low Vitamin D a problem?” you may ask. Well it is a problem because low Vitamin D3 is the reason for a lot of the diseases in this world including autoimmune diseases, mental health problems, and cancer. Nature made all living things very similar. Plants and humans are similar in the fact that if you cover a plant it will get sick and die and if you cover a human the result is the same. Plants will wilt and their leaves turn colors and that is the illness from lack of sunlight. While humans get autoimmune diseases, cancers, mental health problems, and nuerodegenrative disorders as the illness. If you uncover the plant then it can repair itself the same is true for humans. You may ask how do you cover a human? Well it’s a verberal cover up. Like staying inside the house, living under artificial lights (mainly blue), being on a screen for large amounts of time, not going outside, not seeing sunrises and sets, being surrounded by Wifi, 5g, and electricity, eating processed foods, wearing sunglasses and sunscreens or wearing plastic laden clothing all play a huge part in a humans overall health and all serve as blankets in different ways because they keep our natural mechanisms from occurring which causes our bodies to become ill.
The treatment for low Vitamin D3 is super cost effective, it only requires some time, but the time spent is offset because you will get the time back at the end; you will live longer and have a healthier life. That treatment is going outside watching the sunrise and/or set and going outside some during the day. This may be hard for some because our modern lives do not revolve around sunrise to sunset. They should, but they don’t. Our days and schedules rarely align with sunrises and sets. Most of the time we have a rushed lunch and just can’t seem to make it outside. Or maybe it is too hot or cold outside whatever the reason you have to find it within yourself to make it happen. If having better health is that important to you then you will make it happen for yourself. Maybe you will have to get a different job that pays less, but that may be offset by not spending as much money on conventional healthcare. Maybe instead of having a movie night you have a park picnic or cookout. Maybe you sit out on the bleachers and not in your car while waiting on your child’s practice. Maybe you reduce your time at the gym and do your workouts at the park or in your yard. Maybe your take the time to sunbath, even if it’s in the shade. Maybe you eat outside when it’s nice and maybe on not so nice days too. The key is just being outside in comfortable natural clothing enjoying what nature has to offer. This treatment will not only help you make the Vitamin D3 your body needs to function it will also help you make more melanin which will help you not only look better, because tans are hot!! It will also help you absorb radiation from your environment. So there are many benefits to having your coffee outside while the sunrises, eating lunch outside, or going for a walk or cycling in the evening, gardening on the weekends, or having dinner at sunset on the deck. Of course don’t forget to leave your phone in the house!!
